Transfer companies Resort Hoppa and A2B has announced a new managing director as it plots international expansion.
Matt Hall has left lowcostholidays as deputy managing director to become managing director of the recently-merged businesses.
It comes as the companies prepare to launch new trade and consumer websites in the coming months and expand globally. The companies now have XML feeds in 45 languages including Arabic, Russian and Chinese.
Phil Norris, group sales director told Travel Daily Media the move was a natural step, now the UK market is mature for the transfers sector.
“We’re already seeing huge year-on-year growth in our international business and with the xml now available we expect to see this growth increase again very quickly,” he said. “Transfers are a global product and our international profile has increased substantially over the last year with very little promotion and marketing, it was a natural step to build on the interest by overseas online agents and tour operators to give them XML distribution in their own language.”
