Rixos Hotels have announced its intent to expend its international portfolio.
The hospitality group plans to increase its hotel and resorts portfolio from 27 to 60 by 2020. This expansion spans across 20 countries according to its CEO, Bugra Berberoglu.
The UAE will be in the spotlight with a number of projects to be announced. “By 2020, we intend to have injected a lot of investments into the UAE, adding to our presence in this part of the world and seizing opportunities presented by its steady growth in tourism and other sectors,” Berberoglu was quoted in Gulf News.
Rixos Hotels already operate two resorts in the UAE. “Our properties are becoming an increasingly popular for GCC travellers who are visiting destinations in which we already operate. Our increasing presence in the market will help take this awareness to the next level,” he added.
