Rixos Hotels opens Pera Istanbul

Rixos opened its second hotel in Istanbul in the city of Pera. The hotel will offer luxury rooms and suites with a view of the ancient peninsula and the golden horn. Rixos Pera Istanbul consists of three buildings next to each other with one of them previously known as the Royal Hotel which had been built in 1876.
The hotel boasts 116 luxury rooms, including 21 suites, restaurants, bars and a SPA and fitness center. Rixos Pera İstanbul has five a la carte restaurants serving world cuisine. Emre Ergani, known as the cult name of İstanbul’s night life will operate Park Şamdan, Chapelle, Jack Russel, Cafe Royal and Aija Shima.
“The city of Istanbul is transforming fast and plays a crucial role in our decision to open a second hotel,” said Basak Erel, senior vice president brand management at Rixos Hotels.
Residents at Rixos Pera Istanbul will understand the reasoning behind the naming of golden horn when they experience the wonderful city of ancient Istanbul. The new hotel is the 16th ring of the chain after Rixos The Palm Dubai which opened in March 2012.
