Royal Caribbean doubles presence in Southampton

On the back of the recent announcement that its sister brand Celebrity will offer greaterUKcapacity next year, Royal Caribbean confirmed this week that it will deploy its 3114-guest Adventure of the Seas inSouthamptonfrom May 2013. The ship will operate alongside the 3634-guestIndependenceof the Seas, which returns toSouthamptonfor its fifth season. Between its two brands the available capacity from theUKmore than doubles, further highlighting the underlying strength of theUKcruise market and the growth in demand for no-fly cruise holiday options.

The Adventure of the Seas arrives in Southampton on 24 May 2013 and will offer a series of seven 12-, 13-, 14- and 16-night cruises. Early booking incentives are available on all booking made before 31 May 2012
