Samuel Creations announced that it will design for the Hyatt Place Golf Hotel, Taghazout Bay (Agadir).
Being slated to welcome guests in late 2014, it will be the first of nine resorts on the shores of southern Morocco. The upscale destination will boast a further four five-star hotels, two four-star hotels, a surf camp hotel, and an eco-resort.
With 152 rooms, 20 hotel villas, conference facility, restaurant and spa, Samuel Creations is creating an atmosphere of elegance, contemporary design with Moorish undertones. In tune with this, Samuel Creations intends to lessen the carbon footprint of its design by sourcing materials from the local region.
Taghazout Bay is part of the Moroccan National Tourism Strategy ‘Vision 2020’. The ‘new generation’ resort concept combines sustainable tourism offering a large gamut of sports activities, nature expeditions and authentic culture for some 7,000 future tourists (total capacity of 7,450 touristic beds). The seaside resort will include world-class hotels, a variety of leisure activities and a high-end residential development.
