A massive rescue operation is under way in the Philippines, where at least 73 people are feared to have died following torrential rains. The BBC reported that Tropical Storm Ketsana triggered the worst flooding in decades in the capital Manila and nearby provinces, forcing more than 250,000 people from their homes.
