Qatar Airways Unveils New Formula 1® Livery
Qatar Airways concluded an unforgettable Qatar Grand Prix weekend, delivering a vibrant showcase of sport, innovation, and culture both on and off the track. ‘Qatar Airways United’ launched
Launched at the Milan Derby at the San Siro Stadium, the partnership delivers community-building opportunities in underserved communities. Qatar Airways has launched ‘Qatar Airways United’, a social development initiative created in partnership with internationally acclaimed football legend, Rio Ferdinand. The global project connects Ferdinand with Qatar Airways’ world-class sports partners to deliver community-building opportunities that focus on inspiring confidence and ambition in young people. The initiative kicked off in collaboration with Inter Milan during the Milan Derby at the historic San Siro Stadium on 23 November 2025, where Ferdinand was welcomed by Inter and a local social responsibility entity, Real Eyes Sport. Through the collaboration, Qatar Airways gave children with visual disabilities the opportunity to experience first-hand one of football’s most iconic rivalries at the Milan Derby. The visit was joined by Inter’s Vice President Javier Zanetti, an advocate for developing resources for underserved youth, and empowering them through mentorship and exposure to unforgettable sporting moments. Qatar Airways Partners with Indian Chef Garima Arora
Qatar Airways announces the launch of an exclusive Business Class menu in collaboration with celebrated chef and restaurateur, Garima Arora (Chef Garima). Officially launched on 15 November 2025, the Business Class menu features an all-vegetarian, Ayurvedic-inspired offering, available on routes from Doha to India. The special menu will be refreshed every three months with new dishes curated by Chef Garima to offer the best variety to Business Class passengers. In the next phase, Chef Garima’s menu will also be extended to routes from Doha to the United States. Chef Garima, a trailblazer in modern Indian cuisine, became the first Indian woman to earn a Michelin star in 2018 for her Bangkok-based restaurant, Gaa. In 2023, Gaa was awarded a second Michelin star, making it one of the few Indian restaurants globally to achieve this distinction. With this, Chef Garima also became the first female Indian chef to lead a two-Michelin star kitchen. Qatar Airways Expands Services in Saudi Arabia, Increases Flights to Jeddah and Riyadh

Cathay Pacific Airways Ltd poised to buy back entirety of Qatar Airways’ shareholding
Cathay Pacific Airways Limited and Qatar Airways QCSC announced on 5th November that Qatar Airways has entered into an undertaking to execute a buy-back agreement with Cathay Pacific. These proceedings are in accordance with Cathay’s pending repurchase of the entire Qatar Airways’ shareholding in its organisation. According to Cathay group chair Patrick Healy: “The buy-back reflects our strong confidence in the future of the Cathay Group and underscores our commitment to the development of the Hong Kong international aviation hub. Together with our investment of well over HK$100 billion into our fleet, cabin and lounge products, and digital leadership, we are firmly focused on sustainably growing our business to strengthen Hong Kong’s status as a world-class aviation hub and contribute to the prosperity of the wider Greater Bay Area.
