Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President of the UAE and Deputy Prime Minister, has unveiled Al Khail Square, a new development at the Abu Dhabi Equestrian Club. This project is designed to enhance the equestrian sector whilst integrating traditional heritage with contemporary urban life.
Al Khail Square is set to become a benchmark for lifestyle, sport, and community in Abu Dhabi, focusing on wellness, sustainability, and quality of life. The development features pedestrian-friendly walkways, open green spaces, and architecture that maximises natural light and air quality. It also includes advanced infrastructure with modern cooling systems to ensure comfort year-round.
During the launch, Sheikh Mansour reviewed the master plan and was briefed on the project's components by Mohammed Abdullah Al Junaibi, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Abu Dhabi Equestrian Club. The development will include advanced equestrian facilities, premium residential units, modern healthcare amenities, and a variety of retail and commercial spaces. A new members-only club will offer a world-class experience.
Sheikh Mansour emphasised that Al Khail Square reflects the prominence of equestrian sport in Abu Dhabi and its global standing. He noted the project's contribution to Abu Dhabi's urban, sporting, and cultural development.
Engineer Ali Al Shaiba, Director General of Abu Dhabi Equestrian Club, stated that Al Khail Square will redefine the architectural identity of the club, transforming it into a destination that honours its historic legacy whilst offering a contemporary model for premium living.
