Star Cruises has unveiled plans for a major new 48-day voyage of the Asia Pacific region.
Due to set sail on 13 November 2015, the itinerary will include more than 20 port calls in Australia, Cambodia, China, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam.
The voyage will be operated by the SuperStar Virgo cruise ship, which can carry up to 1,870 passengers.
“We are excited to announce this first-ever, long-haul itinerary across the Southern Hemisphere for Star Cruises,” said Ang Moo Lim, Star Cruises’ executive vice president of sales & marketing.
“As the Asia Pacific’s leading cruise operator in the region, we take pride in knowing our clientele and the local market trends and have developed this itinerary to give our guests, who are already very familiar with shorter cruises, the option to embark on a longer destination voyage.”
Destinations visited on the cruise will include Bali, Bangkok, Ho Chi Minh City, Melbourne and Sydney. Onboard the ship, passengers will have a choice of 13 restaurants and bars, 600m² of retail space, a cinema, swimming pool, gym, beauty salon and games rooms.
The cruise will end on 31 December 2015.
