Stay22 CTO Fabien LoupyMontréal-based affiliate commerce platform Stay22 announced the hiring of a new chief technology officer as well as a new chief financial officer.
The platform named Fabien Loupy and Louis-Charles Genest to the posts of CTO and CFO respectively; both will be based at the main office in Montréal. The appointments mark a new chapter for Stay22 as it approaches its tenth anniversary and surpasses US$1 billion in annual transactions
After successfully leading technology at Stay22, Hamad Al-Khabbaz takes on the post of chief innovation officer at the firm that he co-founded in 2016, a newly created role to support the further development of the company.

Chief technology officer Fabian Loupy
Loupy brings extensive experience from his stint as the vice-president of technology at the global e-commerce platform SSENSE, leading its growth and generating over US$1B in annual sales and operating across over 100 countries.
He scaled the engineering team from 40 to a peak of 270 and spearheaded the launch of a mobile app that drove hundreds of millions in revenue.
Together with his team, he architected a highly resilient tech stack capable of absorbing extreme traffic surges which became a key competitive advantage for the company.
He said of his appointment: “I am impressed by Stay22’s resilience and the impact its products have created for content creators since it was founded nine years ago, as well as by the grit and the collaborative culture of its team. Among my goals as new CTO will be helping the company reach its targets more efficiently as we expand our affiliate program to additional verticals”.

Genest has a record of scaling finance and administrative operations while driving transformative merger and acquisitions activities.
He led corporate functions at District M multiplying its annual revenue by eight and its team size by ten in six years.
He also ran the ad-tech company merger with Sharethrough, overseeing the post-merger integration of both companies afterwards.
Genest expressed pleasure over his appointment, saying: “As Stay22’s new CFO, I will support the company’s growth and further professionalise the finance and administrative functions of the company.”
