Study explores Oman’s tourism potential

The first meeting of the Tourism Committee was held recently under Ibrahim al Nabhani, a member of the Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry and head of the committee to discuss an approved a field study titled ‘Tourism reality in Oman’.”
“The study discussed tourism potential in all governorates of Oman. It took into consideration tourists’ point of views as they constitute 50% of people who are part of the study,” said Nabhani as reported in Muscat Daily.
Nabhani said the committee is in the process of preparing a draft to revive yacht tours among GCC countries. “The committee will continue to coordinate with concerned agencies in both the government and private sector to overcome challenges to develop tourism potential in Oman.”
