The latest industry appointments – Asia
ROBERT WILLIAMS has been named as British Airways’ new Regional General Manager for Southeast Asia, based in Singapore. Williams moves to the region from London Heathrow, where he was BA’s Alliance Implementation Manager. He has also been Commercial Manager for Benelux.
SIRINATE MEENAKUL has been appointed Global Brand Director for the Sofitel So label. A Thai national, Ms Meenakul takes on this newly-created role following 20 years’ industry experience, including spells with Four Seasons and Peninsula. She joined the Sofitel So Bangkok in 2009.
JESSIE KHOO has been appointed Director of Sales for the Pan Pacific Singapore. She joins the hotel from her previous role as Director of MICE Sales at Pan Pacific’s Singapore sales office. Prior to joining Pan Pacific Ms Khoo worked for Shangri-La in Shanghai and Singapore.
KATHARINA KUSTOS has been appointed Director of Sales & Marketing for GHM’s two properties in Bali, The Chedi Club Tanah Gajah and The Legian. A German national, Ms Kustos moves to Indonesia from Dubai, where she spent six years working in sales positions for Hyatt and Jumeirah.
DEBBIE CHEE has been announced as the new Director of Sales & Marketing for The Nam Hai resort in central Vietnam. A native of Malaysia, Ms Chee has resided in Vietnam since 2000, when she was appointed assistant Director of Sales for the Hotel Equatorial Ho Chi Minh City.
JAMES REPPUHN has been appointed Executive Chef of the Dusit Thani Pattaya. Chef James is from the US but has spent the last 12 years of his career working in Asia, including spells in China, Thailand and India, and with hotel companies including Marriott and Four Seasons.
