The Ritz Carlton opens in Okinawa
The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company has opened its first Japanese property on the island of Okinawa.
“We are delighted to be able to bring our first true luxury resort hotel to Japan to complement our city hotels in Tokyo and Osaka,” said Herve Humler, president and chief operations officer of The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company.
The 97 modern guestrooms and two suites of The Ritz-Carlton, Okinawa have balconies or terraces with views that overlook the East China Sea and the Kise Country Club. Other facilities include Italian, Tepan-Yaki and multi-cuisine restaurants, The Ritz-Carlton Spa by ESPA, two special Retreat Suites, and a golf course.
