Dubai Properties Group (DPG) announced today that it is making significant enhancements to The Walk at JBR.
The work is being funded and managed by DPG, and is designed to further improve The Walk and JBR for visitors, residents and tourists.
Work has already begun addressing voids such as traffic with future tram stops. DPG Group CEO Khalid Al Malik said: “The Walk at JBR attracts over 10 million visitors per year. The new enahcement will make it a landmark street location, much like Rodeo Drive in LA, Las Ramblas in Barcelona, The promenade d’Anglaise in Nice and the Croisette in Cannes.”
Enhancements include new shaded areas to the F&B and retail outlets along The Walk at street level, as well as improved street-scaping and access to the Plaza level via escalators leading to new and enhanced retail facilities. DPG has also announced plans for a new boutique hotel and beach club located between the Hilton Dubai Jumeirah and the newly constructed Al Fattan Crystal Towers.
