Foreign exchange specialist Travelex has announced a partnership with Copa Airlines. ConnectMiles members can now earn miles when exchanging currency in all Travelex stores at Tocumen International Airport, Panama.
“Over the past years, we have built up our services in Panama around retail. We can now offer ConnectMiles members a new way to earn miles, simply by exchanging currency with Travelex. This partnership with Copa Airlines will further demonstrate our support and commitment to our business and the community in Panama,” said Pamela Henning, vice president of partnerships at Travelex.
The programme will allow passengers at Tocumen Airport exchanging currency with Travelex, to earn miles in the Copa Airlines loyalty programme of ConnectMiles.
“Through our partnership with Travelex, we are providing another way for members to earn ConnectMiles. We’re always looking for innovative ways to enable our ConnectMiles members to collect miles that they can use for a world of award travel possibilities on flights operated by Copa Airlines, Star Alliance member Airlines and other global airline partners,” said Timothy Manoles, vice president of loyalty at Copa Airlines.
The companies will monitor the programme in Panama with an eye on expanding it in other airport locations.
