Interest in Claridges has boosted 1, 769% on TripAdvisor within a week of a television series on the hotel aired in the UK, the reviews site has said.
UK users looking at the luxury hotel is said to have soared after the first episode of the ‘Inside Claridges’ series was shown on the BBC last week compared to figures the week before.
The programme gave a behind-the-scenes look at the luxury London hotel.
“Claridges is a favourite of the rich, famous and even royalty. And while most of us could only dream about staying in one of their luxury suites, it seems that the new series has left many travellers keen to experience a slice of luxury and see where all the action happens,” said Emma Shaw from TripAdvisor.
