Ubico partners with Acai Travel for AI travel automation

Ubico, the corporate travel management arm of World2Meet (W2M), has announced a strategic partnership with Acai Travel, a specialist in AI solutions for the travel industry.

This collaboration aims to integrate Acai Travel’s Agentic API into Ubico’s service ecosystem, enhancing travel support with AI-powered capabilities.

The initiative, announced today, 16th December, will initially be implemented within Ubico, part of the ATPI network, before expanding across W2M's broader operations.

A time for transformation through integration

The partnership is set to transform Ubico’s Microsoft Dynamics-based CRM environment by embedding AI agents that provide co-pilot and autonomous support.

This integration promises faster, smarter, and more scalable travel management whilst maintaining seamless compatibility with various content systems, including GDS and NDC.

Alejandro de la Mata, Head of Corporate Services & Solutions at W2M, highlighted the significance of this partnership, stating, “We built Ubico from scratch to challenge the legacy TMC model. Partnering with Acai allows us to go even further, building a tech-enabled, agent-augmented service model that truly reflects what a next-generation TMC should be.”

Riccardo Vittoria, CEO of Acai Travel, expressed enthusiasm for the collaboration, noting, “We’re proud to be working together to bring AI co-pilots to agents and fully agentic automation to travellers, all with complete control and transparency.”

This strategic move underscores Ubico’s commitment to reducing reliance on traditional workflows and enhancing its service model with efficient, scalable, and human-centric technology.

The companies plan to expand the AI deployment across other W2M divisions throughout 2026, marking a significant step in the evolution of travel management services.
