Passengers arriving into the UK are set to face delays or disruption at immigration after Border Agency staff announced a strike.
Workers are set to walk out for 24 hours from midnight (0001 BST on 10 May) in a row over changes to its pension scheme. According to the Evening Standard, volunteers will check passports at Heathrow during the strike and other airports have warned of minor delays.
Travellers have been urged not to change plans, with outbound travel unaffected by the strike.
The industrial action follows criticism of Heathrow in recent weeks, which has seen queues of up to three hours and calls for extra staff.
