Uzbekistan Airways is looking at adding new routes to India. The national carrier of Uzbekistan is working on launching flights to Mumbai from Tashkent and Samarkand in the next three to four months.
“We are actively considering the introduction of a flight service connecting Tashkent and Samarkand with Mumbai,” Uzbekistan’s Honorary Consul, Vijay Kalantri told PTI.
The airline has already completed regulatory approvals from India and is hoping to begin Mumbai service from July onwards.
The airline currently flies to Delhi and Amritsar in India.
