VFS Global has unveiled a state-of-the-art Visa Application Centre in Kuwait, enhancing the visa application experience for residents seeking to travel to the Czech Republic and the Federal Republic of Germany. The new centre, developed in collaboration with the embassies of both countries, features increased biometric enrolment counters and a modern design to ensure a faster, more comfortable, and secure process.
The centre was inaugurated by Juraj Chmiel, Ambassador of the Czech Republic to Kuwait, and Hans-Christian Freiherr von Reibnitz, Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany to Kuwait. Chmiel highlighted the centre's role in promoting cultural exchange and business growth, whilst von Reibnitz praised the upgraded facilities as a welcoming start for travellers to Germany.
Monaz Bilimoria, Regional Head of VFS Global in Kuwait, expressed excitement about the facility's potential to meet the growing demand for travel to these European destinations. She stated, "This centre will play a crucial role in effectively catering to the growing demand for travel to these two prominent European destinations."
VFS Global, a trusted partner for visa processing services since 2014 for the Czech Republic and 2005 for Germany, operates a network of 73 and 74 visa centres globally for each country, respectively. The centre in Kuwait offers optional services like SMS alerts and courier services, although these do not affect visa processing times or decisions.
Appointments for visa applications can be booked online at no additional charge. VFS Global handles only the administrative aspects of the visa process, with final decisions made by the respective embassies.
