Spanish low-cost carrier, Vueling experienced a 10.5 percent rise in passenger traffic on October 2011.
The Barcelona-based airline carried 1.08 million passengers last month, compared to 977,000 in October 2010 – the increase being driven by a 10.2 percent increase in flight offerings, following the launch of its two new international bases in Toulouse and Amsterdam. The airline’s load factor climbed 1.8 percentage points to 76.8 percent.
This winter season, Vueling is planning to launch five new routes from Barcelona, including a new direct connection to Cardiff.
