Wizz Air has unveiled WIZZ Link, a digital platform developed with travel technology company Dohop, enabling passengers to book multi-leg journeys in a single transaction. This new service introduces nearly 8,000 route options across Wizz Air's network, allowing travellers to choose multiple destinations through a single booking experience.
The platform aims to simplify the process for travellers who often spend hours managing bookings for multi-segment journeys. By offering a streamlined booking process, WIZZ Link helps passengers avoid the hassle of searching for individual flight segments and comparing schedules. Key connecting points include Budapest, Rome, London, Warsaw, and Tirana.
WIZZ Link is powered by Dohopโs RetailConnect technology, which allows Wizz Air to manage flexible flight transfers whilst maintaining control over pricing and customer experience. Passengers can also add ConnectSure, a protection service for delays and cancellations, ensuring peace of mind throughout their trip.
Michael Delehant, Senior Chief Commercial and Operations Officer at Wizz Air, highlighted the convenience and choice offered by WIZZ Link, stating it represents a significant step in the airline's strategy to enhance customer experience and network connectivity. Hugh Aitken, Chief Operating Officer at Dohop, praised the partnership, noting it demonstrates how low-cost carriers can efficiently expand their networks.
The launch of WIZZ Link strengthens Wizz Air's position as a leading ultra-low-cost carrier, aligning with its strategy to use technology and partnerships to improve operational efficiency and customer satisfaction
