Wizz Air, Europe’s most environmentally sustainable airline*, announces the launch of five new Spanish routes from London Luton Airport. From next spring, Wizz Air customers will be able to reach five new destinations across Spain: Bilbao, Barcelona, Madrid, Valencia and Seville, making Wizz Air one of the key providers of low-cost travel to Spain, Europe and beyond.
With flights running ten times a week to Barcelona and a daily connection between London Luton and Madrid, Wizz Air is making it easier and more affordable than ever for the airline’s millions of customers to reach these destinations, giving more choice and freedom when it comes to planning trips abroad.
Launching on March 29th 2026, just before the Easter holidays and ahead of the summer season, giving customers countless opportunities to visit Spain for a long weekend and during the peak holiday period. Fares start from £17.99** [1] and tickets are now available for sale on wizzair.com and via Wizz Air’s official mobile app.

To celebrate, Wizz Air is running a scavenger hunt across London today, giving the public a chance to win free flights to one of the new destinations. A set of clues will be shared on Wizz Air’s Instagram, guiding participants to three Spanish landmarks around the city to locate a Wizz Air representative. The first person to reach each of the landmarks will be able to claim their prize.

Passengers travelling from Luton London Airport will also gain access to new routes to Italy and Austria. Flights to Milan Malpensa, Rome Fiumicino and Vienna International Airport will run daily beginning on 26th October 2025.
