Wyndham Hotel Group is continuing its expansion in China with the signing of franchise agreements for five Ramada hotels. The new-build hotels will be located in secondary and tertiary cities in Jiangsu, Shandong and Guangxi provinces, and will join the 43 Ramadas already operating in China.

The new hotels are the 227-room Ramada Taizhou East (opening in Jiangsu province in October 2012), the 212-room Ramada Plaza Rizhao (Shandong province, December 2012), the 201-room Ramada Yangzhou Baoying (Jiangsu province, March 2013), the 220-room Ramada Wuxi City Center (Jiangsu province, October 2013) and the 300-room Ramada Plaza Dongxing City Center (Guangxi province, November 2015).
Wyndham currently has a portfolio of 425 hotels and more than 61,700 rooms in the Asia Pacific region.
