Yntegra Group, a Miami-based developer, has launched the world's first floating helipad at the upcoming Rosewood Exuma resort on East Sampson Cay in the Bahamas. This innovative feature is part of a suite of mobile amenities, including a floating padel court and a 13-metre limousine tender, designed to redefine ultra-luxury arrivals for ultra-high-net-worth (UHNW) guests.
The floating helipad, anchored on a 2,184-square-foot recycled dock system, is FAA-compliant and can be repositioned as needed. It is engineered to withstand extreme weather and features solar lights for night operations. The helipad can accommodate helicopters up to 190,000 lbs, including the Sikorsky CH-53E, combining cutting-edge engineering with luxury.
Felipe MacLean, CEO of Yntegra Group, stated, โWe are unwavering in our pursuit to craft experiences that are as visionary as they are memorable. Our Floating Helipad ensures that the arrival experience is as unforgettable as the destination itself.โ
Rosewood Exuma, set to open in late 2028, will feature 33 bungalows on a 124-acre island, with sustainable initiatives such as solar energy and native landscaping. The resort aims for LEED certification, highlighting its commitment to environmental responsibility.
Yntegra's innovations, including the floating padel court and limousine tender, underscore its ability to deliver luxury in remote locations, offering a glimpse into the future of private-island hospitality. These amenities promise to elevate the guest experience, blending design, adventure, and wellness in a pristine setting.
