The islands of Guernsey (including Guernsey, Alderney, Sark and Herm) are preparing to remove all testing and isolation requirements for UK and British Isle visitors from 1 July 2021. Changes to the islands’ travel restrictions have been made after swift progress on the vaccine rollout has continued across the islands as well as across the UK.
All of Guernsey’s adult population is expected to have received their first dose of vaccination by 1 July, with the most vulnerable completely vaccinated by this date.
A traffic light system will be introduced, with international visitors and destinations ranking on different levels in terms of restrictions. Restrictions will be published as and when the travel resumes and certain restrictions come into place. Visitors form the UK or elsewhere within the Common Travel Area will have no testing, self-isolation or vaccination requirements.
