About the Opportunity
Reporting to the Finance Business Partner Corporate Traveller, you will be an experienced finance professional and influencer, providing insight into the numbers, underlaying processes and influence decision-making by providing clear and well thought out recommendations. Combining an ability to analyse large data sets with simple and clear explanations will be key to your success. You will be joining a team of innovative high-performers who rely on collaboration, adaptability and continuous improvement to achieve market leading outcomes
Key Responsibilities
Responsible for analysing, reporting and improving profitability outcomes for specific revenue sources along with collaboration and support with Finance Business Partners, GM Finance and Australian CFO.
Partner with Product to understand, build and drive insightful performance dashboards that will secure revenue opportunities and potential changes to strategy.
Responsible for understanding the process flow and contacting various stakeholders to determine accuracy and deliver increased profitability.
Producing innovative ideas through collaboration on business wide analysis tools to better support and understand the revenue stream.
Support commercial decision making and influence the contracts and how the processes are performed.
Enhance our culture of continuous improvement by proactively rationalising existing and introducing new reporting that aligns to business needs, ways of working and drives objectives.
About you
You are an energetic customer centric professional, a commercial thinker, and a strong investigator that is able to liaise with all levels of management and key stakeholders. You’re someone who is genuinely passionate about interpreting high volumes of data to provide insights to the business. You have the ability to think commercially, be self sufficient and proactive, manage deadlines as well as think outside of the box to solve problems.
At least 2 years’ experience in a similar role
Experience in PowerBI or other similar data visualisation technologies
Comfortable using Excel to manipulate, transform and present data
High level of ownership
High attention to detail
Strong presentation and storytelling skills
Advanced time management and prioritisation skills
Advanced analytical and problem solving skills
Able to communicate financial information simplistically
Experience in a business with high transactional volumes would be advantageous but not necessary
