Travel Operations and Product Executive – A successful award-winning travel company are recruiting for a Travel Operations and Product Executive to join their established team based in Chester . This role will be part of a specialist sport division and will be responsible for all aspects of operational support for existing and new bookings. The role will encompass a variety of operational activities pre and post travel, including supplier relations, reservations, and quality control . This role will be working Monday to Friday 9-5.30 with 1 Saturday per month and offers a competitive basic salary . This is initially an 11-month fixed term contract and will be based at their Chester office , however there is some flexibility for hybrid working

Travel Operations and Product Executive responsibilities:
– Produce costings per event, sourcing product where appropriate
– Organise product training to enhance product knowledge for the sales team.
– Identify opportunities to drive promotion of products to maximise sales
– Process and maintain tour information on back-office management system
– Work alongside the team , creating tour forecasts and breakeven analysis templates to be used for all events
– Conducting final pre-departure checks on all client booking files to ensure all elements are firmed and accurate

Travel Operations and Product Executive skills required :
-Experience working in travel as a travel consultant, reservations agent or customer service consultant, with a good understanding of the travel market
-Experience using booking systems to book flights, hotels, and transfers
-Excellent organisational skills , with the ability to prioritise a busy workload
-Confident communicating with clients and suppliers over the phone and by email
