Ireland is positioning itself as one of Europe’s fastest-emerging padel markets, with operator Padel 100 announcing a €5 million fundraise under the Employment Investment Incentive Scheme (EIIS). The raise will support an ambitious rollout of 300 courts nationwide by December 2027.
The expansion is already underway, with installations beginning this month at a rate of 10–12 courts per month. By April 2026, the company expects to have 100 courts in play across more than 40 confirmed venues.
Backed by partnerships with Acenta Group (Sweden), Playtomic, and NXPadel, Padel 100 is combining international expertise in construction, booking technology, and materials to bring world-class infrastructure to Ireland’s rapidly growing padel community.
“Contracts are signed, demand is accelerating, and we’re on track to reach 300 courts by Christmas 2027,” said Ben Keohane, CEO and Founder of Padel 100. “This is a transformative moment in Ireland’s padel journey, with an investment model designed to deliver both sporting and financial returns.”
Globally, padel is one of the fastest-growing sports, with 7,000 new courts built in 2024, a 92% player retention rate, and growing momentum towards Olympic inclusion. Padel 100 forecasts its network will host over 800,000 annual sessions and generate €11 million in revenue by 2026.
For investors, the EIIS-backed raise offers significant incentives:
- 50% income tax relief on investments before 15 November 2025 (35% thereafter)
- 40% fixed return over four years
- Capital repayment at Year 4
- Bonus royalty income for investments above €50,000
- Option to convert into equity for long-term growth
With the national rollout gathering speed, Padel 100’s initiative is set to put Ireland firmly on the map as a leading European padel destination, while offering investors a chance to back a sport with global momentum.
