The airline's Boeing aircraft, VT-BXG, takes off from Bagdogra to Bengaluru featuring a tailfin design inspired by the timeless Jamdani weave, renowned for its intricate handloom patterns. To mark the occasion, Air India Express crew at Bagdogra joined the celebration dressed in elegant Jamdani attire, standing proudly alongside the aircraft. Guests on board were also served a 'Gourmair' sondesh tiramisu, adding a sweet touch to the celebration.
Connecting people, places and culture, the airline connects the region with 70 weekly flights from Bagdogra and over 130 from Kolkata.
