Cosmos Hotel Management, the operator of MIMARU, has partnered with Sumitomo Corporation to introduce a clothing-sharing service for inbound family travellers. Launching on 19 January 2026, the service, named Any Wear Anywhere, allows guests at MIMARU to reserve clothing sets online, tailored to the season and travel purpose, which are then delivered to their accommodation. This initiative seeks to alleviate the challenges of packing for diverse climates and managing luggage, whilst promoting environmentally conscious travel.

The service, which began in July 2023, enables travellers to return the clothing within Japan after use, reducing the need for transporting and disposing of garments. MIMARU has expanded the clothing options to better serve families with children. A traveller from Singapore noted, "I don't usually own winter clothing and with children growing quickly, bulky winter wear is difficult to pack. Renting felt like better value than filling a suitcase."
MIMARU, known for its spacious flat-style accommodations, caters primarily to international families, with over 90% of its guests coming from abroad. In addition to the clothing-sharing service, MIMARU offers same-day luggage delivery and other family-friendly services to enhance the convenience of their guests.

The clothing-sharing service not only simplifies packing but also provides travellers with more space for shopping, as highlighted by a traveller from Australia. Another guest from the US praised the service for its ease and quality, stating, "Arriving to find the clothes ready and simply returning them at the front desk made the experience very easy. Everything was clean and of good quality."
This collaboration between MIMARU and Sumitomo Corporation marks a significant step towards more sustainable and convenient travel solutions for families visiting Japan.
