Marina Bay Sands is set to become a vibrant hub of creativity with the fourth edition of "Where Art Takes Shape" from 22 to 31 January 2026. This event, part of Singapore Art Week 2026, promises a rich tapestry of artistic experiences, including Southeast Asia's premier art fair, ART SG, and innovative exhibitions at the ArtScience Museum. The festival aims to connect, inspire, and transform through a seamless blend of art, food, and culture.
ART SG, supported by UBS, will return to the Marina Bay Sands Expo & Convention Centre, marking a significant evolution by co-hosting S.E.A. Focus, a platform dedicated to Southeast Asian contemporary art. This collaboration will feature over 100 international galleries, offering a dialogue between Southeast Asian and global contemporary art practices.
The ArtScience Museum will present "NOX: Confessions of a Machine" by Lawrence Lek, exploring the consciousness of machines and future smart city architecture. This exhibition, running from 23 January to 19 April 2026, invites visitors to reflect on human-machine interactions. Additionally, the ART SG FILM programme will screen curated films at the ArtScience Cinema, offering a reflective cinematic experience.
Marina Bay Sands will also elevate dining with art-inspired culinary creations across its signature restaurants, blending heritage, craftsmanship, and cultural storytelling. This festival underscores Marina Bay Sands' commitment to fostering Singapore's arts and culture scene, reinforcing its role as a leading platform for artistic exchange.
