HRAWI hosts food safety training in Indore

The Hotel and Restaurant Association (Western India) conducted the Food Safety and Standards Authority of India's (FSSAI) Food Safety Supervisor Training in Advance Catering (FoSTaC) on 4 February at Hotel Solaris in Indore. The programme, attended by 21 hospitality professionals, focused on crucial topics such as food handling, hygiene, sanitation, and waste management. Led by Dr V. Pasupathy, the training aimed to provide practical insights to strengthen food safety measures within the participants' establishments.

HRAWI has a commendable track record, having trained and certified 3,716 hospitality professionals through its FoSTaC and FSSAI's Management Training Programme. The association is committed to fostering a robust culture of food safety and equipping industry professionals with the necessary knowledge and skills to uphold the highest standards in their operations.

The Hotel and Restaurant Association (Western India), established 75 years ago, represents hotels and restaurants across Western India, including Maharashtra, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Goa, and the Union Territory of Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Daman and Diu. As part of the Federation of Hotel & Restaurant Associations of India, HRAWI continues to be a significant voice in the hospitality industry
