Taiwan showcases dive destinations at ADEX 2026

Wuji Zhenyuan Tiantan (Tianyuan Palace) is located in Tamsui District, New Taipei City, and is a popular spot for cherry blossom viewing in northern Taiwan.

Taiwan is set to make a splash at the ADEX Ocean Festival Singapore 2026, Asia's largest diving expo, as it seeks to attract divers from across the region. Following a successful 2025 appearance, the Taiwan Tourism Administration (TTA) will showcase the island's world-class dive sites, emphasising its strategic advantages such as convenient transportation and an English-friendly environment.

Taiwan's diverse marine ecosystem offers unique diving experiences across its coastlines. In Northern Taiwan, divers can explore monsoon-shaped sedimentary rocks and vibrant ocean gardens, whilst Yilan's Guishan Island offers underwater hot springs and shipwrecks. Southern Taiwan's Kenting provides year-round tropical diving with fringing reefs, and Xiao Liuqiu is renowned for encounters with green sea turtles. The Eastern Offshore Islands, including Green Island and Orchid Island, boast thriving artificial habitats and a rich seafaring culture. Penghu combines dramatic basalt landscapes with exhilarating drift dives.

The Taiwan Pavilion will feature leading dive operators from various regions, offering expert travel advice and insights. Additionally, six exclusive dive presentations will be held, featuring internationally renowned Taiwanese underwater photographers Yorko Summer and Peggy Chiang, alongside dive expert NT Chen. These sessions will be available online post-event.

Taiwan will also highlight its local industry with Made in Taiwan (MIT) dive brands and host a Daily Lucky Draw, offering attendees the chance to win high-quality diving gear. The event takes place from 10 to 12 April 2026 at Suntec Singapore Convention & Exhibition Centre
