Seatrade Cruise Global 2026 expands programming

Seatrade Cruise Global, the cruise industry's largest international gathering, is set to return to the Miami Beach Convention Centre from 13 to 16 April 2026. This year's event, themed "Beyond the Horizon: Leveraging Cruising’s Strength and Scale to Drive Innovation," will feature expanded programming to reflect the evolving nature of the cruise industry.

The conference will introduce a new Presidents Panel, bringing together newly appointed leaders such as Tracy Wilson of Disney Cruise Line and Wesley D'Silva of Regent Seven Seas Cruises. This session will explore how cruise lines are attracting new customers and adapting to emerging technologies like artificial intelligence. Additionally, the State of the Global Cruise Industry keynote will feature prominent figures including John Chidsey of Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings and Jason Liberty of Royal Caribbean Group.

A significant focus of the 2026 programme is on destinations, with sessions highlighting how ports and communities collaborate with cruise lines to enhance guest experiences. Jason Montague of Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings will lead a keynote on "The Value of Destination," emphasising the importance of destinations in driving demand and differentiation.

Seatrade Cruise Global is also expanding its experiential programming. New features include a Wellness Oasis, offering immersive wellness experiences, and dedicated Retail Days to explore evolving retail strategies. The event will debut the "Trends Report: Spotlight on Cruise Retail," providing insights into onboard retail and passenger spending.

Chiara Giorgi, Global Brand & Event Director, stated, “The future of cruising isn’t just about what’s new — it’s about how those ideas come together to create something more meaningful.” The event promises to blend innovation, experience, and human connections, shaping the future of cruising
