Mirai has launched its AI Infrastructure, a groundbreaking system enabling hotel bookings through natural language across multiple platforms, including chat, email, WhatsApp, and AI assistants like ChatGPT. This innovation allows guests to make reservations without being redirected to a hotel website, ensuring secure payment processing throughout.
The new architecture integrates a booking engine, knowledge base, conversational intelligence, and AI assistant connectivity into a single infrastructure. This marks a significant shift from traditional web-based interfaces, allowing reservations to begin and conclude within a conversation. "With Mirai AI Infrastructure, the booking engine stops being a static destination to become a capability that lives wherever the customer is," said Pablo Delgado, CEO America at Mirai.
Mirai's system comprises five key components: an evolved booking engine, a master database for consistent information, Sarai for conversational intelligence, Lobby for governance and analytics, and the Model Context Protocol (MCP) for AI connectivity. This setup ensures a uniform experience across all channels, integrating conversations into the direct sales system.
The infrastructure is designed for seamless interaction with AI assistants, offering structured content and real booking capabilities without third-party navigation. This development allows hotels to maintain control over direct sales whilst automating processes, enhancing operational efficiency, and creating new sales opportunities
