The resort, located within the Mayakoba enclave, spans 60 acres of beachfront, lagoon, and jungle, featuring 182 guestrooms, suites, and villas.

Alila Mayakoba is designed to immerse guests in the natural beauty and cultural richness of the Riviera Maya. General Manager Patrick Schori emphasised the resort's commitment to providing an experience that is "grounded, intuitive, and deeply restorative." The resort's architecture and guest journey are crafted to reflect Alila's philosophy of mindful luxury.

The resort offers six dining destinations, including the return of Casa Amate, known for its regional flavours.
