Yogyakarta, known for its beaches and volcanic hills, saw a 61% increase in interest, whilst Bandung and Malang attracted travellers seeking cooler climates and a mix of city and nature experiences. Bandung's café culture and creative scene, alongside attractions like Tangkuban Perahu, continue to draw visitors, whilst Malang offers access to Mount Bromo and southern coastlines.
Semarang also reported a 60% rise in interest, appealing with its colonial architecture and hillside retreats. Closer to Jakarta, Bogor complemented Puncak's popularity with a 70% increase in searches, thanks to its botanical gardens and vibrant food scene.
