VinFast, a leading electric vehicle (EV) manufacturer, has announced a significant expansion of its global aftersales network by signing Memoranda of Understanding (MOUs) with 29 international partners. This announcement was made during the VinFast Global Business Conference, held from 4 to 10 May 2026, marking a pivotal step in the company's strategy to enhance its service capabilities worldwide.
The MOUs will see the establishment of EV service workshops that adhere to VinFast's global standards across various markets, including North America, Europe, the Middle East, and Asia. VinFast is committed to providing high-quality service through globally-standardised technician training, consistent operating procedures, and a robust parts supply network aimed at delivering common spare parts within 24 hours in key markets.
This initiative is part of VinFast's broader strategy to develop a comprehensive EV ecosystem that includes aftersales services, charging infrastructure, and customer support. By the end of 2025, VinFast had already established nearly 400 service workshops in Vietnam, contributing to a global network of almost 800 facilities. The company plans to expand this network to over 1,100 service workshops by 2026.
Deputy CEO of Global Aftersales, Bui Viet Hung, emphasised the company's commitment to a customer-centric approach, stating, "Our goal is not simply to expand the network but to build a customer-centric aftersales ecosystem that delivers an outstanding experience on a global scale."
In addition to expanding its aftersales operations, VinFast is also developing an integrated EV ecosystem, including partnerships with strategic partners like VGreen to enhance charging infrastructure. This network aims to establish over 15 million charging ports globally, facilitating a seamless EV ownership experience for customers worldwide
