Wild Frontiers, an award-winning B Corp adventure travel company, has unveiled three new small-group tours in China, capitalising on the country's recent surge in tourism. This expansion follows the introduction of visa-free travel for UK nationals, allowing visits to mainland China for up to 30 days until 31 December 2026. The policy has already led to a 14.7% increase in visa-free arrivals during the May Day holiday.
The new itineraries cover diverse regions, including Beijing, Xi'an, Zhangjiajie, and Eastern China, with an additional tour featuring Taiwan. These tours offer a blend of iconic landmarks and unique local experiences, such as hiking the Jinshanling section of the Great Wall and exploring ancient archaeological sites.
The itineraries include:
- **China: From Imperial Capitals to Wild Sichuan**: A 16-day journey through northern and western China, priced from $5,590 (£4,590) per person.
- **Southern China Explorer: From Megacities to Mountain Realms**: An 18-day exploration of dramatic landscapes and regional traditions, starting at $5,640 (£4,640) per person.
- **East China & Taiwan: Shared Traditions and Distinct Cultures Across The Strait**: An 18-day tour combining historic eastern cities with Taiwan's natural beauty, priced from $7,295 (£5,995) per person.
Marc Leaderman, Director of Product and Operations at Wild Frontiers, stated, “China offers an extraordinary diversity of travel experiences... As travel to China becomes more accessible again, we’re seeing growing interest from travellers looking for more immersive and culturally focused experiences.”
These new offerings complement Wild Frontiers' existing tours, such as the Chinese Silk Road Taklamakan Adventure, and cater to the increasing demand for in-depth exploration of China
