Virgin Atlantic has announced a new partnership with travel eSIM provider Kolet, aimed at simplifying connectivity for passengers travelling internationally. Through this collaboration, passengers can activate mobile data before departure or upon arrival, with 1GB of complimentary data available for 48 hours after landing.

The partnership is part of Virgin Atlantic's broader strategy to enhance the passenger experience by integrating connectivity into the travel journey. This initiative complements the airline's existing investments in digital services, such as app-based journeys, digital boarding passes, and onboard Wi-Fi, including the rollout of Starlink Wi-Fi across its fleet.

Kolet, which has already attracted over 500,000 travellers in less than two years, works with major travel brands like Air France-KLM and Kiwi.com. The service allows Virgin Atlantic customers to access mobile data in over 190 destinations without the need for physical SIM cards, avoiding unexpected roaming charges.
