Vietjet has announced a new direct flight service connecting Nha Trang and Singapore, set to commence on 11 December 2026. The announcement was made at the Vietnam–Singapore Tech Connect Forum 2026, attended by Vietnam's General Secretary and President To Lam, alongside senior leaders from both nations. This new route aims to enhance Vietjet’s strategic network, linking Vietnam with one of Asia's major aviation and financial hubs.
The Nha Trang–Singapore service will operate four round-trip flights per week on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays. This development is expected to facilitate travel for residents and tourists, opening up Nha Trang's renowned beaches and hospitality to a broader international audience. Nha Trang is celebrated for its pristine beaches, vibrant marine life, and year-round pleasant climate.
Dinh Viet Phuong, First Vice Chairman of Vietjet, stated, “As we continuously expand our flight network, Vietjet aims to serve as a bridge for growth between nations, helping to promote trade, investment, tourism, and cultural exchange.” He emphasised the importance of direct air links in fostering new growth corridors for tourism and commerce.
Since its inaugural Singapore-Vietnam route in 2014, Vietjet has transported over 3.8 million passengers on more than 22,000 flights. The airline currently operates four direct services between Singapore and Vietnamese cities, including Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, Da Nang, and Phu Quoc, with over 100 flights weekly. This expansion underscores Vietjet's commitment to enhancing regional connectivity and meeting the increasing travel demands
