BEING 2026, Southeast Asia's premier B2B wellness conference, is set to return to Angsana Laguna Phuket on 2 September. This event comes as the global wellness industry is projected to reach $1.35 trillion by 2028, with Thailand at the forefront of this growth. The conference aims to bring together operators, investors, and entrepreneurs driving the wellness economy.
Curated by C9 Hotelworks, Mrs B Group, and Delivering Asia, with support from the Phuket Hotels Association, BEING 2026 offers a full-day programme of interactive sessions rather than traditional keynote speeches. Bill Barnett, Managing Director of C9 Hotelworks, emphasised the active format, stating, “The format is deliberately active because the subject demands it. Most conferences in this space treat wellness as a subject for observation. BEING treats it as something to be experienced.”
The event will feature three Conversations on wellness's impact on hospitality, destination demand, and healthcare ecosystems, alongside 12 Workshops covering topics like AI, nutrition, and brand building. Additionally, three Movement Sessions will allow participants to engage physically with the disciplines discussed.
Notable contributors include Ingo Schweder, CEO of GOCO Hospitality, and Andrew Giles, Executive Director of Bumrungrad International Hospital Phuket. Sumi Soorian, Founder of Mrs B Group, will moderate a session on wellness as a primary travel motivation.
The Wellness Exchange will host 27 exhibitors, providing a marketplace for wellness products and services. The BEING Table: Open Connections will facilitate networking among attendees.
BEING 2026 will take place from 09:00 to 16:30 on 2 September. The event is free, but registration is required due to limited spaces
