Mindtrip, an AI-powered travel platform, has unveiled Mindtrip Stays, a new service designed to simplify hotel booking by using agentic artificial intelligence.

This launch, announced on 15 July, follows the recent introduction of Mindtrip Flights and aims to streamline the often complex process of choosing accommodations by allowing users to describe their preferences in natural language.

Mindtrip Stays addresses the challenges travellers face when comparing destinations, amenities, and prices across multiple platforms. The service allows users to specify their needs—such as location, budget, and amenities—without relying on traditional filters. "Travellers don't think in filters; they think in goals, preferences, and trade-offs," said Andy Moss, co-founder and CEO of Mindtrip. The platform evaluates these factors simultaneously, providing clear explanations for its recommendations.

The service integrates live inventory from major providers like Expedia, Booking.com, and Priceline, ensuring real-time pricing and availability. It also features price drop alerts, notifying users of savings opportunities as rates fluctuate. Additionally, Mindtrip Stays offers flexible checkout options, allowing bookings directly through the platform or with the supplier of choice.

Looking forward, Mindtrip plans to enhance the platform with loyalty-aware recommendations and expand its inventory to include short-term rentals and campsites. This development aims to offer travellers a comprehensive and seamless planning experience, from booking accommodations to organising flights and activities
