Global travel risk intelligence company Riskline has announced a new partnership with Tripadvisor, the world’s largest travel guidance platform. This collaboration aims to provide travellers with timely and relevant information about potential risks and events that could impact their journeys, both during the planning phase and whilst on location.

Riskline operates around the clock, offering travel insights across over 220 countries and territories, and more than 260 cities. Through this partnership, Tripadvisor will integrate Riskline’s insights to enhance its travel advisories and safety information. The data, derived from a mix of human expertise, artificial intelligence, and open-source intelligence, covers themes such as natural and environmental issues, conflict, unrest, travel safety, and health and medical concerns.

The partnership comes as travellers increasingly prioritise safety and information. A 2026 poll by the Global Business Travel Association (GBTA) found that 56% of travel buyers consider traveller safety a top priority. This shift reflects a broader trend where travel decisions are influenced by health risks, environmental conditions, and geopolitical developments, beyond just delays and cancellations.
