Atlantis Dubai has solidified its reputation as a leader in sustainable tourism by securing three major industry accreditations. Atlantis, The Palm and Aquaventure World have retained the EarthCheck Gold Certification for the seventh consecutive year, whilst Atlantis The Royal has maintained its EarthCheck Silver Certification for the third year running. Additionally, both Atlantis, The Palm and Atlantis The Royal have been awarded the VERIFIED™ Responsible Hospitality by Forbes Travel Guide and the Dubai Sustainable Tourism Gold Stamp, underscoring their commitment to environmental stewardship.

These accolades highlight Atlantis Dubai's dedication to sustainability, with Executive Director of Sustainability and Marine Animal Operations, Kelly Timmins, stating: “These accreditations reflect the way we approach hospitality every day, delivering exceptional guest experiences whilst ensuring sustainability is embedded across our operations.”

The achievements are a testament to Atlantis Dubai's long-term investment in sustainability, with independent assessments recognising excellence in environmental performance, resource conservation, and community engagement. Notable accomplishments include a significant reduction in energy consumption and greenhouse gas emissions across the resorts, as well as the installation of over 2,000 solar panels generating approximately 1.8 million kWh of renewable electricity annually.

Atlantis Dubai's ongoing initiatives also include advanced recycling programmes, the use of smart technologies to reduce energy consumption, and efforts to support marine conservation through the Atlantis Atlas Project. Looking forward, the resort plans to explore innovative food waste management technologies and advance climate transition frameworks in alignment with the UAE's Net Zero 2050 vision
