flydubai, the Dubai-based airline, is expanding its operations in Italy by increasing daily flights to Naples and doubling its services to Milan-Bergamo from 31 July. This move aims to enhance passenger connectivity and expand the airline's European network.

The airline will temporarily reroute its Naples flights to Salerno Costa d’Amalfi and Cilento Airport from 1 to 30 November due to maintenance at Naples International Airport. Passengers with existing bookings will be automatically rebooked, ensuring uninterrupted travel. Services to Naples International Airport will resume on 1 December.

Ghaith Al Ghaith, CEO of flydubai, stated, “Naples and Milan have become key gateways into our Italian network and we are pleased to have expanded the frequency of our operations to both cities.” He emphasised the airline's commitment to strengthening connectivity to underserved destinations.

Jeyhun Efendi, Divisional Senior Vice President of Commercial Operations and E-commerce, highlighted the importance of the Italian market, noting that the increased services underscore flydubai's dedication to offering seamless, non-stop access to key destinations.

The expanded schedule includes double-daily flights to Milan-Bergamo, daily flights to Naples, thrice-weekly flights to Catania, and seasonal flights to Olbia. This expansion is part of flydubai's broader network growth, which includes new routes to Aleppo, Bangkok, and Benghazi, with upcoming services to Pokhara starting 23 September.

Passengers can enjoy enhanced onboard experiences with flydubai's modern fleet, featuring lie-flat seats in Business Class and ergonomic Economy Class seating. The airline will soon introduce Starlink high-speed connectivity across its fleet, further improving passenger experience
