Global hospitality giant Hilton has announced the signing of three new lifestyle properties in Thailand and the Maldives, marking a significant expansion of its Curio Collection by Hilton and Tapestry Collection by Hilton brands in South East Asia. The new additions include Andamanda Voyage in Phuket, a Tapestry Collection property in Chiang Mai, and Coco de Mer Maldives, set to debut in June 2027.
The expansion is part of Hilton's strategic plan to surpass 250 luxury and lifestyle properties across Asia Pacific, catering to the increasing demand for unique, experience-driven stays. Alexandra Murray, vice president and regional head of South East Asia, emphasised the importance of these destinations, stating, “These signings provide new opportunities to showcase our independent-spirited brands.”

The Andamanda Voyage, Curio Collection by Hilton, will open at the end of 2026 within the Andamanda Waterpark complex in Phuket, offering 246 rooms and direct access to local attractions. Meanwhile, Chiang Mai's first Tapestry Collection property will be located in the city's historic Old Town, featuring 65 rooms within a heritage building that reflects Northern Thai architecture.
In the Maldives, the Coco de Mer resort will offer 75 rooms and is conveniently located 25 minutes by speedboat from Malé. Maria Ariizumi, vice president of development for South East Asia, noted the strong interest from owners in the region, highlighting the potential for growth in both resort and cultural destinations.
These developments underscore Hilton's commitment to expanding its lifestyle presence in high-demand locations, ensuring guests experience stays that are deeply rooted in the local culture and environment
