Canopy by Hilton Istanbul Taksim has partnered with IRIS to implement a Digital Guest Directory, transforming the guest experience at the 110-room hotel. Launched in April 2026, this Hilton-approved mobile solution replaces outdated printed directories, offering guests instant access to hotel information, dining options, and local recommendations via their mobile devices.

The digital directory, customised to reflect the hotel's brand, allows guests to easily navigate services and plan their stay. Berk Akgun, Front Office Manager at Canopy by Hilton Istanbul Taksim, highlighted the importance of meeting guests' expectations for instant information access, especially given the hotel's central location near landmarks like Topkapi Palace and Taksim Square.

The IRIS Guest Directory not only enhances guest engagement but also supports staff by streamlining routine requests, allowing them to focus on building guest relations. Marcus Bird, Head of Commercial at IRIS, noted the strong start to the partnership, emphasising the directory's role in supporting hotel operations and guest interactions.

Guests can access the directory through QR codes throughout the hotel, ensuring convenience whether via in-room TVs or personal devices. This digital shift also supports sustainability by eliminating the need for paper reprints. The collaboration aims to continue building on its initial success, enhancing both guest satisfaction and operational efficiency
