India Tourism Development Corporation (ITDC), a Public Sector Enterprise under the Ministry of Tourism, Government of India, has announced a 4% increase in turnover for the first quarter (Q1) of FY2026-27, compared to the same period last year. The unaudited financial results, ending 30 June 2026, also reveal a notable 11% rise in Profit Before Tax (PBT) over Q1 FY2025-26.

The growth is attributed to steady performance across ITDC's diverse business segments, including hospitality, air ticketing, duty-free operations, and consultancy. The corporation's ongoing capacity-building initiatives and digital governance efforts have further bolstered its operational excellence and innovation.

In alignment with its strategic priorities, ITDC has reinforced its commitment to the India AI Mission and Cyber Surakshit Bharat. This includes organising the ‘AI Champions for Digital Governance’ programme for senior leadership of Public Sector Undertakings, focusing on cyber security to promote safe digital practices.

Managing Director Mugdha Sinha commented, "Our Q1 performance reflects our continued focus on operational efficiency through data-driven decisions. Beyond business growth, we remain committed to building institutional capacity through initiatives in digital governance, cyber security, and AI."

Looking forward, ITDC plans to enhance its business portfolio through strategic partnerships and technology-led innovation. The corporation aims to maintain its focus on operational excellence and sustainable value creation across its hospitality, travel, consultancy, events, and duty-free businesses, supporting the vision of Viksit Bharat
